Biography

Professor Hiroyuki Tomiyama received his B.E., M.E. and D.E. degrees in computer science from Kyushu University in 1994, 1996 and 1999, respectively. From 1999 to 2001, he was a visiting postdoctoral researcher at Center of Embedded Computer Systems, University of California, Irvine. From 2001 to 2003, he was a researcher at Institute of Systems & Information Technologies/KYUSHU. In 2003, he joined Graduate School of Information Science, Nagoya University as an assistant professor, and became an associate professor in 2004. Since 2010, he has been a full professor at College of Science and Engineering, Ritsumeikan University.
